There are obviously people at this University who are for war, against war and somewhere in between justice and revenge. The cover story of Wednesday's Daily Lobo was not only disturbing, but also disgustingly offensive.
I'm not sure what message was attempting to be conveyed, but as a newspaper and source of information, the graphic nature of this photo was insulting not only to students at this University, but everyone involved in this war.
In the future, I hope that more discretion will be used to decide what will be presented in the Daily Lobo. I will not condone or condemn anyone's opinions regarding how this war is being dealt with and would hope that this University supports all educated beliefs regarding such.
