As I read the "apology" from the Connection slate in the paper today, I have only one question. Who do they think they are kidding?
Do they really think anyone will believe that they saw "nothing wrong" with stuffing their flyers into the Daily Lobo without paying for it?
C'mon! This is America, land of greed and capitalism, yet these kids think they can use a publication that is not theirs to promote their causes, and then give that same old tired excuse that "it is a student publication so we should be able to?" God, I am so sick and tired of this pathetic and undeserved sense of entitlement!
What makes them think they can do anything they deem appropriate? If they really thought there was "nothing wrong" with their actions, then why didn't they ask first? Why not have the paper insert them, instead of covertly stuffing them in themselves?
We are not stupid, and that ridiculous and pithy little letter just shows how ignorant and uninformed most of the students at UNM are. And these are the choices we have for the senate . scary!
