Moore, a freshman, helped lead the Lobos to the second round of the WNIT. She shot 12-of-21 from the field for 30 points and dished out 15 assists. She also recorded her first career double-double in her first game as a Lobo when she amassed 15 points and 10 assists in a victory over the University of the Pacific Friday.
The UNM men's soccer team rolled through the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, winning three games in four days to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. The Lobos, who were the eighth-seed, defeated the first, fifth and seventh seeds to win the conference championships. The Lobos were winless in conference play during the regular season (0-6-1) and won three straight games for the first time all season.
