LETTER: Atheist-evolutionists root of more violence than religions

Editor,

If we define a religion as a human, hierarchical power structure, then indeed religion can be very dangerous. But a relationship with God need not have anything to do with that, even for a devout Jewish-Christian such as myself.

What prompts me to write are the opinions of people such as David Morin and his claim that religion has been the cause of more violence than anything else in history that was published in the Daily Lobo on Sept. 21.

No doubt there is much truth to this, however, we must recognize that atheistic-evolution is just as bad. Consider recent history: World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Korea and Desert Storm are all representative of unprecedented blood shed in the name of politics.

And the number one killer, the killer of the innocent and defenseless: abortion, backed by fraudulent science and atheistic-evolution.

For example, when a Christian acts in a murderous manner he is acting in direct opposition to that which he claims to follow. However, if an atheistic-evolutionist acts in such a manner he is acting in direct agreement of that which he claims to follow; survival of the fittest.

Communism is atheistic, Hitler was highly motivated by evolution with higher versus savage races, as well as the occult and Arian mythology.

Mr. Morin, your religion is psychology, your gods are Freud and your all-knowing professor, your textbooks are your bible and your faith is blind.

Moreover, your religion is so exclusive and you are so zealous, that you pass judgement upon all other religions and attack them as being false as opposed to your truth. Please reconsider.
