LETTER: Attacks brought on by aid to Israel

Tuesday's tragedy is the result of our misguided policy with Israel. We cannot continue to arm Israel with our weapons and expect no consequences.

We recently gave Israel $2 billion worth of military aid. That money would buy a lot of infrastructure in the occupied territories, not to mention hospitals and schools.

Israel is not worth one New York fireman or cop.

Stop this madness; impose a moratorium on aid to Israel. Finally Mr. Barak was on Channel 5 a week ago touting the dubious position that Israel is a democracy. A democracy does not execute people without benefit of an arrest or trial.
