I have to question the validity of the student choice results published in Wednesday’s Daily Lobo.
Two of the results caught my attention. The first was the best grocery store. Furr’s? In first place? Since last summer, its shelves have not been fully stocked. One day I walked in and its frozen food section was almost empty. Since then it has filed for bankruptcy.
The next one was kind of funny and totally inaccurate. Taos was ranked second place for the best place to snowboard. One of the selling points of Taos is that snowboarding is not allowed. Hmmmm …
