John Burrows, an associate director of Housing Services, carries his 16-month-old grandson Jack while talking with guests at a reception to celebrate his retirement in the La Posada atrium Thursday afternoon. Burrows worked for the department for 20 years. He said he now plans to enjoy his retirement by fishing, golfing, writing and traveling.
